Hey everyone, updated but the problem persists: it looks like luck isn't on my side. I'm going to try purchasing a new cable in hopes it resolves the issue.

Hello! I set up an account just to share this experience. I’m facing the same issues—random white spots appearing and vanishing. I expected the latest driver update would fix it, but it didn’t. I switched cables and still had the same problem. The only workaround seems to be using a HDMI cable. It looks like Samsung monitors might have this issue. Here’s my PC setup:
- Gigabyte B850 Aorus Elite WIFI7 MOBO
- Corsair HX1000i Platinum PSU
- AMD 9800X3D CPU
- 32GB 6000mhz cl30 Team Group T-Force Delta DDR5
- RTX 5070 Ti Gigabyte Gaming OC GPU
- Monitor Samsung 32" Odyssey OLED G80SD 240Hz

Hello, I'm facing the same problem on my Samsung OLED G9. Tests show issues with two different cables (DP2.1) and changing PCIe versions like Gen5, Gen4, Gen3, X8, X16. The white flickering occurs at 240Hz but not at 120Hz. It seems to be a Samsung-specific issue.

It reappeared after a few days. I’m unsure if any changes helped, so I’m stuck. My temporary fix still functioned, but I experimented with additional settings to try and resolve it. I understand this might not match the original issue, but I’m documenting it in case it assists others. To summarize, the problem only occurs in Honkai Star Rail. The lower portion of the screen briefly turns white. Turning off V-Sync or VRR helped. By watching the flashes, I noticed lows dropping into the 40s, which was my hint. My monitor’s VRR range is 48-240. It seems those lows fell below that range, possibly causing the issue. Since the game isn’t very demanding, I’m wondering if another factor might be involved. Right now, disabling VRR per game in the Nvidia App resolved it.

Hello again! I just wanna give a quick update on my post. I've solved the problem, it was really simple! I switched to AMD (RX 9070 XT), and all the random artifacts, black screens etc. disappeared! I bought one for MSRP and gonna return the 5070 Ti Gaming OC (saved ~400 euros). Sure the ray tracing performance is a little bit behind, but I just set it to medium or high instead of ultra. Is ultra worth 400 euros? Hell no! Not even 200 euros, but a 100 euros yes. Can't wait for FSR 4 to become available for more games, it's amazing! (It's between dlss 3 and dlss 4). PS. Me and my wife both have the same setups (2 pcs with the same spec ram, cpu, motherboard, monitor 240hz oled etc). I had the chance to test her 9070 XT in her pc and the 5070 Ti in my pc, side-by-side. The only thing that I will be missing is ray reconstruction with dlss 4 (if the game supports it). But honestly it's not worth THAT much and it impacts performance significantly. Other than that, the 9070 XT runs cooler than the 5070 ti, but the 9070 xt used around 80 watt more in my case. You can underclock it and save some electricity if you want: " You can cut its power consumption by over 30% with only around a 3% performance impact in most games, reducing it to about 200W ." A redditor made a post about it. I was a Nvidia "fanboy" all my life until now, more than 20 years (I'm 37 now). I can't say enough how happy I am with this 9070 XT, it solved all the issues I had!
