Problems with the onboard Wi-Fi connection.
Hello! It's great to see you back. I'm planning to set up a min-itx PC and need onboard WiFi for convenience. I'm curious—does the Intel onboard WiFi card work without drivers right away, or is it really essential? I'd love it if the motherboard came with a USB stick containing the drivers, especially since it's a B450 model.
Typically it functions using Windows' standard network drivers (similar to how most basic GPU drivers come with Windows). It's best to install the drivers individually with network and video drivers. Ideally, keeping a flash drive with network drivers available can be helpful if issues arise immediately.
It's wise to keep them on hand just in case they don't function as expected. There seems to be no strong reason against them working, especially since similar components are standard in laptops like Intel wireless cards. However, when building a PC, it's better to be ready.
