You're using a MacBook Pro with Apple's Pro model, running until macOS 10.10. You moved to Ubuntu 20.04 because of display and desktop wallpaper issues. Most functions work fine, but there are a couple of problems: the built-in display appears as two separate screens, and the TV connection via MDP causes crashes requiring a forced reboot.
