Hello everyone, I recently installed DDR4 3200 2x8 Corsair Vengeance RAM into my system. It came with a Ryzen 5 2600, RX 580, and a GA B350m D3HS chipset. The original memory was DDR4 2666 2x4. I started by trying to overclock the RAM to 3200 from its stock speed of 2133 MHz. I accessed the BIOS and enabled XMP profiles. When I booted up, I encountered a blue screen. I suspected faulty RAM, so I replaced it several times and reset it back to 2133 MHz. This worked in Windows but still limited my Ryzen’s performance. Whenever I attempted to push it to 3200, the system would freeze after about ten minutes. Eventually, I lowered the speed to 3000 MHz and ran MemTest without errors so far. I’ve tried copying values from the Ryzen memory software and adjusting voltages, but nothing seems to help. What might be the issue? Can I ever achieve 3200 MHz again?

Start by checking if anything above 2933 works on Zen +. Since it’s essentially an overclock for the imc, update the BIOS. Adjust the SOC to 1.1 Dram at 1.35 (maintaining the current setting). Test with a 2933 chip using docp. Once booted, run memtest86 or / and OCCT to verify stability. Good luck!

Increase the SOC voltage slightly. Avoid exceeding 1.2V when disabling ECC, if available. This could enhance memory training during startup by eliminating the requirement to verify ECC status.
