Problems with new pc
I assembled my own new computer once before, but this time things went wrong. I’m feeling a bit panicked, but after some attempts and waiting about 30 seconds, the PC starts up in BIOS, the graphics card appears to be working, fans spin, but the system displays N/A and it’s not functional. I need to connect an HDMI cable to the integrated graphics chip. My RAM is 32GB Viper Venom at 6000MHz. The motherboard is B650 Eagle (not Ax), and the CPU is an AMD Ryzen 7 7700X. Also, I can boot Windows from a USB drive even when the PC shuts down.
The system starts up and functions properly with the integrated graphics connected. If it doesn’t, possible issues include misaligned RAM or loose power cables. Recheck the RAM placement and verify all connections. Note that depending on the number of modules, your CPU may not handle 6000MT/s RAM—consider lowering the speed to around 5200MT/s in BIOS if you boot into it.
I have already configured the RAM, used the same graphics card, and the PC started up via BIOS. RAM appears to function at 5200MHz, but tuning Expo didn’t help and setting it to 6000MHz didn’t make a difference. In BIOS, the D-RAM indicator turns off, while the VGA starts lighting up. The motherboard was recently updated to the latest BIOS version, yet nothing has changed.
When the PC uses the integrated graphics, the problem likely lies with the GPU. If it fails to display at 6000 MT, try reducing it to 5600 MT.
You're facing a common issue where BIOS doesn't recognize your GPU. Since you can only access BIOS, try updating the NVIDIA drivers directly through the manufacturer's website or using their official software tools. If that doesn't work, consider checking your GPU settings in BIOS manually and ensuring it's properly detected.
When the PC shuts down before installation, try restarting it and then retrying. If issues persist, ensure the installation media is properly inserted and check for any error messages during the process.
