Hey there! I own a Dell XPS 8940 paired with an IO Gear GCS32HU KVM. I switch between my laptop and desktop, and everything works smoothly on the laptop. The monitor changes without a hitch, but when I switch back to my desktop, it takes over 30 seconds for the keyboard and mouse to recognize. I don’t have any problems with the laptop setup—my Logitech G413SE keyboard and G502 Hero mouse are fine. Any tips or solutions? Thanks!

The KVM switch is a standard hub model. It cannot offer shared HID device emulation or feed to multiple connected systems. Upgrading from a DDM-class switch will eliminate switching delays for HID devices across all connected devices.
