Hello everyone, Raspbian started up correctly and didn’t cause any issues, but I’m trying Ubuntu instead since there’s no 3b+ available. I followed the instructions for version 3b, which is the closest I’ve seen, but I encountered a rainbow screen. I updated the firmware on the SD card using the provided link, and the system now boots and resizes the partition. However, I’m stuck at the language selection without a mouse or keyboard. Could there be another update needed to resolve this? I’m using a 12W iPad power supply to ensure sufficient power, so I’m not certain it’s the main issue. Thanks for your help!

I only have an old Original Model B+ but I know no power supply ever worked perfectly until I got a "5.1V" adapter. The slight extra voltage was promoted as improving stability since many other adapters would drop out of spec. I don’t remember where I bought it. Let me take a look when you get home if you’d like.
