Hi everyone, my PC has been running smoothly for about a year now. It hasn’t had any loading issues or stuttering, and the CPU temperature stayed around 75°C during heavy use. After moving to a different country, I cleaned up by removing the AIO, GPU, and RAM, then reassembling everything carefully. When I restarted, temperatures spiked significantly—CPU hit 85+°C while gaming, and even at idle it was 60°C. In Remnant 2, temps averaged 95°C and reached 100°C at times. Running all fans max still didn’t help. I tried reapplying thermal paste on the AIO again but that didn’t work. I cleaned all fans and radiator with compressed air, but no improvement. My setup includes six Lian Li fans (bottom, sides), an AIO on top, and an ASRock fan in the back. There are also scratch marks on the AIO plate after reapplying paste. Should I replace the AIO or is there another problem? My current specs are: Ryzen 7950X, RTX 4090, Lian Li O11D XL-W case, SeaSonic 1000FX fans, and TEAMGROUP T-Force Delta RGB 16GB RAM.

You didn’t forget to install the pump. You only needed to take out the GPU and the air cooler, leaving everything else in the case. Are you certain the BIOS didn’t have the 125W mode turned on?

The pump speed is around 1500 RPM. I'm still trying to figure out the BIOS version. (I've got this board, and it's been updated about 15 times recently.)

The pump is connected correctly. I attempted to rearrange the AIO pump and fan headers without success, but no improvement was noticed. Using A-Tuning, the CPU is now in power-saving mode. The Vcore Volt reads .98V, and the CPU temperature during BIOS was around 55 degrees.

The pump runs consistently near 3333 RPM. The BIOS version is 1.11. I was considering a BIOS update, but the patch updates appear to prioritize RAM compatibility over CPU fixes. Maybe my assumption is incorrect.
