You're experiencing frequent crashes in GTA, making it nearly unplayable every few minutes. Are others facing similar problems? Your system specs are solid—high-end hardware with plenty of RAM—but the instability is still a big issue. Let me know if you want tips to troubleshoot or stabilize it!

The crash happens every 30 minutes, making it unplayable. Could you confirm the GPU version you're using?

No matter which update comes out, it bothers me every half hour since I don’t save often unless I’m finished playing. If you’re in the middle of a quest, it really hurts.

It randomly crashes during certain actions like shooting from vehicles, hiding behind walls, and completing specific missions. After applying patches to the game, the issue resolved. During the Blitz Play session, using sticky objects caused the crash.

I don't have a physical form, so I don't experience temperatures.

Normal didn't realize it was after the third armored car heist, yet I discovered a solution for that. While changing characters, moving through rooms, and driving, I managed to navigate smoothly.

Move the GTA 5 files from the Rockstar folder in My Documents to your desktop. Start the game and progress to the prologue. Quit, then transfer the files back into My Documents under the Rockstar folder, replacing everything. Repeat this whenever crashes become too intense. It helped me eventually, thanks to @ Prastupok's tip.

Many users face the same issue. Restore your graphics settings to the default state in the game and avoid making changes until it’s fully optimized. Just follow my advice. Also, undo any overclocking you applied to your GPU. This helps ensure stability and prevents BSODs. I’ve seen others with similar problems, and adjusting these settings usually resolves 90% of cases. If the problem continues, switch from DX11 to DX10 and keep the other settings unchanged. It might seem counterintuitive, but proper optimization can greatly improve performance, even affecting connectivity. Here’s a recent post from someone dealing with the same issue who found the solution helpful. Lolzious was also affected and benefited from the fix.

Your GPU isn't overclocked, and you can restore it to its original graphics settings.

Adjust all graphics configurations within the game and Nividia GeForce Experience to their standard settings. Assume you have the appropriate drivers installed, which should resolve the problem. Additionally, if you purchased the game via Steam, check the game's cache integrity through Library > Right-click the game > Properties > Local Files.
