Problems with GPU drivers and dual monitors.
I recently assembled a new PC featuring an MSI B650 Tomahawk WiFi motherboard, MERC 310 speedster 7900XT GPU, Ryzen 7 7800X3D CPU, 2 TB Samsung 990 Pro Corsair 360 mm Titan AIO HX1200W power supply, 32 GB Corsair Vengeance 6400MT CL36. I record and play games at 2560x1440 resolution using dual monitors at 1920x1080. For recording, I rely on OBS while editing with CapCut. Everything functioned smoothly after setup for months, but recently exporting videos caused my PC to crash. After rebooting, the second monitor stopped working and displayed a noticeable graphics difference. I reinstalled the latest AMD drivers and updated the auto-detection, yet the second monitor remains non-functional. In display settings, it shows no other output sources. When checking via MSI Afterburner, no GPU information appears. I’ve tested various cables, ports, and driver versions—even switching to older AMD drivers didn’t resolve the issue. Only the main monitor shows good graphics, while the second remains unresponsive. I’m new to PC building and unsure what might be wrong. Any guidance would be invaluable. Also, a quick note: my previous build used a 4060Ti and followed similar steps; I haven’t encountered this problem before. Could it be an AMD-specific issue or something else?
