I thought it would help to check the TP Link forums and get some guidance. I’m assisting my friend in installing his new ATT modem so he can use Deco’s device, which was on a Cox network before. I set up the IP pass-through correctly, but the modem’s link light isn’t working, the router doesn’t power on, and it doesn’t appear as a device on the modem’s web interface. Anyone have suggestions or similar experiences? Your input would be really appreciated.

Was das Modem Teil eines Selbstinstallationspakets war? Wenn ja, musst du den Anbieter von ATT kontaktieren, um es zu aktivieren. Bei der Deco könntest du einen Werkseinstellungenreset durchführen und dann vorgehen.

It wasn't a technician who came in; I managed to connect remotely to his computer and reach the modem’s web interface from home. The device appears to be a BGW 320-500 fiber modem. After a factory reset, the display shows a blinking blue light on the deco, but there’s no link light on the Ethernet ports. He can’t connect using his phone or laptop to set it up.

The BGW320 is a router and ONT device that also handles VoIP calls. Check the official guide for details.
