The 5900x consumes a lot of power and generates significant heat. I might adjust certain BIOS settings to lower its clock speed during light usage, reducing the heat output. Additionally, the AIO unit itself could be faulty.

Are you sure about the voltages used for the cores? It seems they might be fixed at the highest frequency, which could lead to a steady voltage being applied. Look into HWinfo64 under VIDs to find out the details. Also, remember to refresh your signature in Account Settings when you click on your username in the top right corner.

Thanks for the note. I haven’t tried HWinfo64 yet, but from what I see, the voltages are changing as expected. Are you seeing the right data?

As mentioned, these components tend to draw more power initially, but adjusting the settings can reduce high-frequency voltages and help manage both idle and load heat. Make sure coolant flows through the AIO tubes with a temperature difference and you notice pump vibration—this indicates proper operation. Also verify the CPU mounting isn’t affecting performance.

Despite the -.075v adjustment, I still achieve comparable outcomes using a Kraken Z63 cooler. The 5900x tends to overheat during startup.
