Hello, I'm experiencing this odd problem where gray elements like the search bar and password fields disappear. I've tried changing the contrast, resetting everything to defaults, updating firmware and drivers, and adjusting color settings in Mac settings, but it still happens. Colors look fine when using a Windows laptop. My Mac is up to date, and I reached out to Dell but they suggested contacting Apple instead.

Is the HDR feature active? It seems to be causing some issues.

It seems this feature is standard on newer Macs, but it isn’t listed in System Preferences. Based on Google results, there’s no way to disable it. Your version (Sequa 15.1.1) should work as expected.

The monitor's HDR setting can be adjusted in the Display Options. I'm certain about this since my device uses HDR and the control is located there.

Choose the top display option. After selecting, the related settings will appear. For example, the LG WQHD Ultrawide with HDR is available, and the HDR feature only shows up when that specific screen is chosen.

It seems unclear about the HDR status. Dell claims it's HDR ready, but that likely doesn't mean it's active. Probably not enabled unless you specifically turned it on.

You haven't resolved the problem yet. Any additional input would be very helpful!
