I am installing a second-hand ASUS ROG Strix Radeon RX 5700 XT OC Edition onto my current setup. This includes an Antec HCG-750w motherboard, Intel i5 12400, 16GB RAM, and two SSDs. My goal is to troubleshoot the graphics card installation. I previously used the igpu driver, but it didn’t work. After updating to Adrenalin 24.1.1, the problem persisted.

I tried installing in safe mode with Ethernet disconnected, then reinstalled the GPU. Once everything was connected and powered on, the system booted normally. I checked temperatures via HarwareMonitor and found them around 50°C. The screen flickered black briefly, then displayed a blue error before shutting down. After restarting, it wouldn’t power up.

I removed the GPU, reinstalled the driver, and ran DDU again. The card worked after reinstalling. I followed these steps:

- Updated drivers via the official websites.
- Performed a Windows update that detected a firmware update for the motherboard.
- Used Asus EZ Flash3 to flash the new GPU.
- Restarted the PC and installed the driver manually.

The system now runs smoothly. If you're facing similar issues, consider checking the motherboard’s BIOS settings, ensuring all cables are secure, and verifying that the GPU is properly seated. Also, confirm the correct power configuration for the new card. Let me know if you need further guidance!
