Problems with AMD Ryzen USB connections.
Problems with AMD Ryzen USB connections.
AMD announced they resolved the problem using April Agesa updates. I discovered online that many users still face USB issues with Ryzen even after applying the update, and some problems persist today. If you're experiencing USB issues with your Ryzen system, please share your CPU model, motherboard, and RAM details along with the specific USB problems you're encountering. If everything is functioning perfectly, feel free to provide your CPU, motherboard, and RAM information as well. Thank you for your assistance.
I think my Ryzen is fine, it's a Zen+ R5 3500u and I haven't encountered any problems.
I keep encountering USB connection problems with the 5900x and b550 phantom gaming ITX motherboard. The latest BIOS seems to be from around September. Occasionally, when devices are plugged in (like USB drives or a SATA adapter for 2.5" disks), there are repeated connect/disconnect actions in about 10 seconds. This doesn’t happen during file transfers, so it’s not too bothersome. It also doesn’t seem consistent or repeatable. In short, no device is flawless—some quirks are unavoidable. If your issues impact real use, consider a) starting an RMA or b) getting new hardware if needed. Good luck!
You're experiencing problems with your CPU performance on the 3950x despite using a GIGABYTE X570 AORUS Master Corsair Vengeance RGB Pro.
