I recently purchased a Zotac RTX 2080 AMP and am experiencing frame rate drops when using all low settings. I'm playing at 1080p and 144Hz. Overwatch gives me about 170 FPS with max settings, while low settings average around 245 FPS and drop to 190. Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 averages 90 FPS on high settings and 135 FPS on very low. I was hoping for better performance from this GPU. My specs include an i5 8600K (3.60GHz), Z370P motherboard, 16GB Corsair 300GHz RAM, and a Seasonic 750W gold power supply. I've reinstalled Windows and drivers and switched power management to the performance mode. I'm unsure what's causing the issue, but my performance is similar to my old 1070 now.

Ensure ow isn't active on dynamic resolution; remove it completely and adjust to 100. Avoid any higher resolution settings—especially in Black Ops mode. Confirm no dynamic or res scaling forces you into higher resolutions.

It's already configured at 100.

Sure, but is it really 100? Could be a CPU limitation.

real usage is around 100%, with 80-90% CPU load during gaming. Overclocked to 4.4 GHz, but no background processes running.

The i5 8600K should handle RTX 2080 smoothly without major issues. To optimize performance, focus on proper cooling, ensure adequate power delivery, and consider updating drivers or using a better cooling solution if needed.

Not ideal to shoot at 300 FPS if it's not in stock

No solution exists to prevent 8600k from causing a bottleneck in 2080. Is that correct?
