Hello, I'm a budding 3D artist and a casual gamer. My Acer Aspire 7 is a gaming laptop I purchased a few years ago. Recently, over the past couple of months, it's been throwing BOSD errors—specifically DXGKRNL_FATAL_ERROR—when I launch 3D software or play games. I reached out to Microsoft, Acer, and Nvidia, but they didn’t offer much help and recommended a repair shop. I went there, though, and the problem seems to be with a local repair service that might not have the expertise for this kind of issue. They told me it couldn't be fixed and suggested buying a new PC.

Note: When I turned off my dedicated GPU, the system worked fine, but it crashed on the last frame when I turned it back on. That’s why I’m worried about losing my GPU.

I've tried a few fixes so far:
1. Reset the device multiple times.
2. Updated all drivers.
3. Tried showing it to a technician (who seemed unskilled).

I need help without spending too much, and I found this link: [link]

Also, I encountered issues with the perfmon command—even after opening it as an administrator, I couldn’t save the performance report.
