Good day!
I have a new build. Specs below
CPU: i9-13900k
CPU cooler: NZXT kraken x73
Motherboard: Gigabyte z690 Aorus ultra
Ram: corsair vengeance 64gb(16x4) ddr5@4800mhz
SSD/HDD: WD_BLACK 1TB SN770 NVMe ( x 2)
GPU: EVGA 3070 TI FTW 3
PSU: EVGA supernova 1300 P+ 80+ platinum
Chassis: fractal design define 7 xl
OS: windows 11 (pro)
Monitor: ASUS ROG SWIFT (PG279QM)
When downloading some applications, the application downloads just fine. I have successfully installed a few things onto my computer.
ie, msi afterburner&rivatuner, discord, steam, battle net, rainmeter, the usual gamer applications.
I was attempting to install minecraft (after the download was complete) and epic games launcher. Minecraft stopped loading the update on the launcher at about 142mb/600mb. After a while the update errored out. I will need to recreate the scenario to see what the specific error was.
Epic games launcher installation was initiated at about 11pm MST last night when I went to bed. I woke up at about 6:30am and the installation was where I had left it at about 55% complete. No errors, nothing wrong with it, just not loading any further.
I stopped the installation, Uninstalled what was on my computer, and reinstated the installation. Again, it went to about 55% and then froze. I'm unsure what to do.
I have installed some programs just fine, it seems that these two are having issues and I'm not sure why. It may be associated with more programs as well.

When sharing a troubleshooting thread, it's standard to provide your complete system specifications. Please list them in the following format:
CPU:
CPU cooler:
Motherboard:
Ram:
SSD/HDD:
GPU:
PSU:
Chassis:
OS:
Monitor:
Out of curiosity, did you recycle the OS from an older build, perhaps?

How much space is occupied by the SSD? Are these applications being saved on the hard drive instead?

Rejecting the suggestion, the operating system is a fresh Windows 11 key. I will adjust my specs to cover everything.
Apologies for assuming nothing beyond the motherboard and data processing would matter. I'll add the remaining details from my original post.

The SSD currently offers 700 gigabytes of available space.

Are you sure the EGS launcher is present on your system? If not, it's possible the antivirus software is causing conflicts. You might want to disable your antivirus temporarily to check. There could be other antivirus programs interfering, but "360 Total Security AV" has a documented problem with Epic Games Launcher. Also, confirm you have read and write permissions for the installation directory where you're setting up the Epic Games Launcher.

No results appear when searching for add or remove programs. As the administrator, I have full access to all drives on the PC.

Does this indicate that the 360 Total Security AV software isn't listed in the add/remove programs? It's possible you haven't installed it yet. Look for other AV software already installed, if any. If you're the administrator, you likely don't require access to drivers or folders.
