I checked for fan-made DLCs for Fallout 4 and found one in the mods section, but it appears to be just a crashed airplane and a seller listing. It’s not the only issue—there are also problems with the game speed. I gave the dog a +10% movement boost, but the combat feels off; mobs seem to vanish instantly and I’m finding it hard to keep up. The game seems to be running too quickly, making it difficult to play smoothly.
When swapping a CC mod for Nexusmods, things can be unpredictable. They may help sometimes but can also cause major problems. First, remove the existing mod and then reload your save—this usually triggers a warning that the old version was removed. If the save works afterward, you can reinstall Nexus Mods and reload again, treating it as a fresh addition. If crashes or errors persist after removing the original mod, consider installing the official Nexus version and creating a new save. Avoid running both Nexus and CC versions of the same mod at the same time, as this often leads to conflicts.
For smoother performance, speed issues often stem from the game engine being tied to FPS limits (typically 60 FPS). Using a mod like Alternate Start can bypass these restrictions and let you reach your full frame rate. It also resolves engine physics problems, preventing crashes.
