You just updated Windows and tried a full reset. When you installed CSGO using your old settings, it worked fine. Now the game doesn’t launch properly with any launch options. You mentioned using specific performance tweaks before, but now at 60Hz it’s laggy and not smooth. The settings you used earlier helped, but without them the experience is poor. Please let me know if you need further troubleshooting steps.

I use a 144Hz monitor but don’t require the 144 command. I don’t need FPS or rate-of-launch settings—they’re saved in your CFG. You can’t adjust the tickrate because it’s controlled on the server side, and you don’t have control over that. The “console” is just for when I have it available in-game. TLDR; those commands aren’t useful in Steam launch options.

You may need to turn off the Xbox DVR feature in the Xbox app when your game runs at a low frame rate. The reason it doesn’t start isn’t clear to me.

Running the -refresh command simply aligns the game with 144hz for improved frame rates, making it noticeably smoother for players not using 144hz (I'm at 75hz). The tick rate adjusts my client side to 12800, ensuring consistent performance when hosting maps or joining servers. The console appears only to launch CS and start a warm-up map right away.
