Hey everyone,
I recently upgraded to a 13900k and DDR5 system. Before that, my PC/games would crash occasionally but were generally stable. After the upgrade, crashes have become much more frequent, particularly when playing demanding games like Escape From Tarkov and some less intense ones such as PUBG and R6 Siege. I’m aware the 13900k has stability problems, but I’m curious if anyone has a quick solution. I’m considering an RMA, but I’d rather avoid it if possible. Most of the BSODs or crashes come with a KERNEL MODE HEAP message, which led me to suspect the RAM might be the issue. I also got whocrashed and it provided similar information even without a full crash.

I’ve already tried:
1) Removing one RAM stick to check for RAM problems
2) Updating the BIOS
3) Undervolting the GPU
4) Installing new GPU drivers
5) Deinstalling Realtek audio drivers (though I thought it might be the cause)

I have a DMP file, but I’m not sure how to upload it. It’s currently on a Google Drive. Do you need any more details to help me figure this out?
TIA!!!

inspect motherboard CPU socket pins for any bends or discoloration
run dism commands to check windows
test ram using memtest
ensure the pagefile is not disabled, reinstall it
monitor cpu and gpu temperatures
restart bios
