Problèmes de latence CPU inégale sur i9-13900K
I'm checking the cooling performance of my PC under heavy CPU load. I observed some cores getting noticeably hotter than others during a Cinebench R23 multi-core test. The overall temperatures looked stable after accounting for thermal throttling (36127 - Stock Settings, Nocuta NH-D15 Cooler with both fans). I've attached the temperature readings. Are there similar patterns with the 13900k? This seems normal or could point to uneven thermal paste distribution? Here are the specs: CPU i9-13900k, cooler Nocuta NH-D15 MOBO, case Corsair 7000D Airflow. Thanks for any advice!
It seems the performance differences you're observing align well with Intel's design goals. Your 12600KF shows about a 5°C variation between P-cores under stress, even with a contact frame. The E-cores appear to be quite close to the P-cores, which is interesting given the temperature stability you mentioned. It looks like your system maintains solid thermal efficiency, keeping the EC cooler than the PC during tasks like Cinebench.
These readings are completely different from what you expect. It’s unclear what you’re aiming for next. The only advice I can give is to consider purchasing a bending correction frame if you haven’t already. It probably won’t affect your temperatures much, but it’s pointless to own a 12900k with stock ILM.
Some processors differ in performance, which explains why top boost speeds often appear on 2 or 4 cores. These are carefully selected units that deliver stronger and more consistent gains compared to others. Maintaining uniform temperatures across the chip is important, and this setup ensures stable operation.
Thanks for the response! This provides a sense of reassurance. I switched to the i9 from an i7-4790K, which means I’m getting accustomed to handling higher temperatures now.
There are also fewer threads on a 4790K, which could explain why you noticed the varying core temperatures. More cores usually allow for greater temperature differences between them. Most contemporary Intel processors tend to run hotter than this model, making it a bit of an adjustment.
