We discovered an old Proliant server with dual Xeons, 48GB RAM, and three SAS drives. Inside, we found a RAM stick that seems to hold multiple chips—three on each side, along with TI chips and a large connector. The cable connects to a Varta rechargeable battery. This setup appears to be for storing CMOS settings rather than just extra storage.

HP refers to it as a FBWC or BBWC, which could mean flash memory rather than regular RAM. Available sizes include 512MB and 1GB. Check the part number sticker for more details!
