Problematic memory card in a Proliant 380 G7?
We discovered an old Proliant server with dual Xeons, 48GB RAM, and three SAS drives. Inside, we found a RAM stick that seems to hold multiple chips—three on each side, along with TI chips and a large connector. The cable connects to a Varta rechargeable battery. This setup appears to be for storing CMOS settings rather than just extra storage.
Ram equipped with backup power to maintain data accuracy. Provides sufficient energy to complete writing to the system.
