Recently I updated my FX 8320 and turned off all settings related to SVM, energy saving features, turbo core, and other BIOS overrides. The main issue is that before any changes in the BIOS, I could view real-time CPU power usage through monitoring tools like hwinfo. My main question is which BIOS option was disabled or changed to stop the CPU from showing this information. Thanks ahead!
Check for APM and HPC settings. If they're active but the issue persists, it might be another factor like HWinfo, CPU, or a combination. You could test with a different power monitor to see if it resolves the problem.
Thanks for the reply, but based on what I understand, APM limits actually control frequency, and turning them off can improve stability.
