I recently purchased a Corsair Veangence 2x8GB DDR4 3200 (non-RGB) module for my system, which includes a Ryzen 5 2600, Gigabyte AB350M D3SH (rev 1.x) RX 580, and a 500W PSU. When I tried to optimize the RAM using XMP in BIOS, I encountered a blue screen on Windows. So far, I've tried several fixes: resetting the sticks, adjusting voltage between 1.35 and 1.4, tweaking the CRT setting from 54 to 56, updating BIOS versions, and even checking the motherboard compatibility list. Despite these attempts, the issue persists. The RAM still doesn’t reach its advertised 3200 MHz and crashes after about ten minutes. I’m wondering if there’s a solution or if this is related to my motherboard or hardware. Can I run this RAM at full speed without problems? I’ve attached the Thaiphoon data sheet for reference. Adjust the settings manually might work, but that's likely due to older Ryzen's weak memory controller. It could be that the CPU itself has limitations. The issue probably stems from AMD's capabilities back then rather than a software problem.

Your 1600AF uses the same CPU as your 3000MHz RAM, but you're experiencing slower performance due to the older Ryzen memory controller.

I use a Ryzen 1600 with 3200 easy on an ASUS X370 and a 3600 kit. Recently I encountered problems when running XMP on a 3600X and a B450. I’ve shared a post about this issue here—maybe experimenting with my setup could help others too?
