Hi, I'm trying to fix my Asus Strix z270E Mobo. The power cable was always unplugged from the power supply and turned off. I tried shorting the header, but it didn't work. Then I removed the battery and shorted the + and - on the battery connector. For at least 30 minutes without the battery, nothing happened. Could you help me?
I would disconnect the 24-pin MMO connector just to verify there’s no power stored in it, then while holding the power button for about five seconds, short the pins.
Disconnect the system, remove the battery, release the power switch for ten seconds, then reinstall the battery and power it on.
