Hi, I've got Gigabyte Aorus Elite X570 with 5600X, paired with a Kingston Fury Beast 4x8GB DDR4 3733 C17. I set speeds to 3733MHz and IF at 1866MHz or 3600MHz, keeping latencies steady (CL18). This caused instability and crashes in games. I adjusted to 3200MHz with IF at 1600MHz, using CL14 for stability. While I'm okay with 3200MHz C14, I bought the RAM for at least 3600MHz C16. Testing on Aida64, OCCT, R20...etc at 3600MHz C16, IF 1800MHz worked fine and passed all checks. But in games, I still experience almost instant crashes. I've noticed that changing VDDG and VDDP in the BIOS doesn't update properly in Windows (Zen Timings and Ryzen Master). I've tried every possible setting and trick online, but nothing seems to help. Any advice?

If you're looking for an honest take, the Gigabyte boards in the x570 line have shown inconsistent memory performance based on what I've seen and tried (I own a x570 Aorus Master with a 3800x). I've experimented with several 3600 MHz RAM kits, but none worked reliably above 3200 MHz without causing issues. I didn't upgrade to another x570 or higher-end CPUs just to test the point, since the difference isn't huge, but I'd advise accepting it and coping with 3200 MHz as a limitation.

It looks like you're confirming the setup details. I'll clarify your approach. Are you adjusting speeds and timing yourself or relying on XMP? If you haven't done that yet, reset the CMOS and then activate XMP while keeping other settings unchanged. Also, note the voltage requirements—memory needs a minimum of 1.35V, preferably 1.4V for stability. Set the vcore to 1.1V. If you're willing to share the memory details, I could suggest upgrading to a 2x16GB package instead. Running all four slots increases stress on the memory and IMC; using fewer slots might be more reliable. The main benefit of four sticks is achieving four ranks with single-rank memory, but dual-rank sticks are also available if that's your aim.

I own a Gigabyte Auros x570 xtreme. With four RAM modules it performs noticeably differently in terms of speed compared to two modules. Shimejii seems to have a good idea about these boards.
