I tried setting up Ubuntu and Lubuntu on an old core 2 laptop, but during installation the name option shows an error. Should I use a 32-bit version instead for it to function properly on this device? Thank you for reading.

The device runs a dual-core Intel P7350 processor on a Lenovo IdeaPad Y530. I plan to use it for testing signage software. I’ll likely install a 32-bit Linux distribution, maybe with anti-virus enabled.
