Problema con el PSU?
The problem: Shortly after setting up my new PC, I experienced a black screen and all fans reaching maximum speed. This happened intermittently between launching Windows and staying online for just a few minutes. My attempts to fix it included checking for driver errors (since the install was clean), using ddu and reinstalling drivers manually, and even swapping the GPU with an RX6600. The issue disappeared when I replaced the GPU with another model and upgraded the PSU. Assuming the PSU was faulty, I swapped it out and resolved the problem. I also noticed integrated graphics worked on the new CPU, allowing booting into Windows despite detection issues. Other details: My motherboard had a Q code display showing no GPU problems, and the PSU in question was a dual-system model. It worked even when the second system was off. A minor side note: I can’t put both systems to sleep together anymore, as one would wake the other, but I’ve just stopped trying to force it. Previous specs: 5950X, 3090 Ti; New specs: 9800X3D, 7900XTX; PSU: Phanteks Revolt 1200W. Both run Windows 10, no overclocking except RAM in the old system.
Brand and model of the motherboard and RAM are not specified. The BIOS is confirmed to be fully updated.
