Hi everyone, I'm experiencing some USB 3.0 header problems with my MAXIMUS IMPACT VII case. The issue seems to occur when devices connect to certain ports, causing signal drops. I've checked both the back and front ports, but they appear fine. It's unclear if the problem lies in hardware or software. Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks! Nayth

It seems the header on the motherboard might be damaged or the connection panel inside the case could be faulty. For systems newer than Intel's X58, software issues are unlikely to cause this problem. The simplest and most affordable test is to plug a similar cable into the motherboard’s internal header—if it functions, the case is the issue; otherwise, the motherboard itself may be defective.
