Trying to connect the ASUS Strix 4070 Ti with a TUF B650 WiFi setup is tricky. The onboard display works, but switching to HDMI or DisplayPort cuts the signal. Everything seems installed correctly—PCI cables are secure, GPU re-seated, BIOS updated—but drivers still refuse to appear. I managed to pull the CMOS battery, though it won’t help much. I’m really stuck and unsure how to proceed.

Have you confirmed that all HDMI and DP ports are functioning correctly on both the monitor and GPU?

The monitor appears to be inactive, the GPU isn’t visible in the device manager, yet everything else is functioning. The connections are fresh and working with the console.

Consider placing the GPU in the alternate PCIe lane, especially if you're using a different motherboard. Check for any signs of wear on the GPU's PCIe connector and the PCIe lane itself on the motherboard.

Refer to the instructions above. Use two separate power cables from the PSU to connect the GPU. Avoid daisy-chaining them. In BIOS, ensure it prioritizes the PEG for display first.

the asus strix includes a 3 plug adapter, requires two cables, and the third is daisy chained.
