Hello, I bought a new PC without a GPU. It has a Ryzen 7 7700x CPU, an RTX 4060 GPU (RTX 4060 PNY), 8GB of RAM, a B650 GAMING X AX motherboard, and 32GB of G.Skill Flare X5 Series RAM at 6000mhz DDR5. The storage is a Crucial P3 1TB NVMe M.2 drive, and the PSU is a Thermaltake Toughpower GF A3 Gold 1050W. I installed the RTX 4060 by changing the PCIe slot from 4.0 to 3.0. My main problem is that I can’t enter BIOS at startup—no matter how hard I try, pressing DEL or other keys doesn’t work. The only way I’ve managed is by disconnecting the NVMe drive or resetting the UEFI in Windows.

Also a quick note: avoid watching the screen, focus on the HDD activity indicator. When starting up, it will show one flash, then pause until the operating system is ready—press the DEL key as soon as that initial flash occurs.

The CPU is expected to include a simple integrated graphics component. That’s why it should show basic visuals without the RTX 4060. This suggests a possible issue with the BIOS settings. Updating the BIOS might be a good solution. I’m not claiming your SSD is faulty, but I’ve encountered many problems with this particular model. The controller on this SSD tends to overheat, and there are numerous defective or fake units available on Amazon. Proceed with caution.
