I purchased this HDMI splitter to send signals from my PC to my TV. After connecting everything and testing the video, the audio still isn’t working. I have PC speakers that produce sound, but I can’t get the TV to play audio through Windows 11 because the splitter isn’t letting the PC recognize it. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Audio can function through HDMI when only connecting the TV or monitor without a splitter. The main reason is that using a splitter is necessary for proper signal routing, especially if you want to use the TV as a separate display. Without the splitter, audio may not reach the monitor effectively.

Audio functions properly when connecting the PC straight to the TV, but using a splitter improves performance. I chose this splitter since my graphics card only has one HDMI port and three display ports, and both the monitor and TV rely solely on HDMI.

Purchase a HDMI converter that uses DisplayPort. It's designed for straightforward switching between display formats.
