Hey everyone! I own a prebuilt PC and have begun upgrading some components... I have a 2 TB HDD with 375 GB of space; I also bought a Sandisk 120 GB SSD. I'm facing problems moving my OS from the HDD to the SSD without reinstalling Windows. If I can't transfer the OS without erasing everything, what's the process to remove the OS from the HDD without wiping it? Thanks MJ

You must remove files or reinstall. If reinstalling, configure the boot device as an SSD and delete the boot partitions from the HDD without creating new ones.

You're facing challenges reinstalling Windows 7 because the prebuilt product keys aren't valid for creating an ISO. It's best to reach out to your computer manufacturer for assistance. If chat support is no longer available, consider using alternative methods like downloading the ISO directly from Microsoft or exploring community forums for help. Deleting data might be a last resort if you only have games.
