Starting point is essential... I've been working with my new PC for about two months now. It went through several weeks of troubleshooting but no clear answers came up. I've shared the details below and attached my crash report. I've reinstalled Windows multiple times, thoroughly checked all drivers, swapped out the CPU, memory, and motherboard. The only part left undone is the graphics card replacement.

The issue occurs during gameplay—whether it's any title—the PC either crashes with BSOD or freezes, then restarts itself. The timing of these failures changes, but I can usually predict them by listening to the fan speeds increase unpredictably. I've also used GTA benchmarks to gather information as much as possible.

What I've noticed is that when running G-Sync off and adjusting settings to high, the PC remains stable. However, enabling HDR causes crashes every time. Running WOW in HDR mode leads to quick failures, while WOW without HDR can last an hour or two but still crashes.

I've experienced crashes while streaming on YouTube and even during simple tasks like navigating menus. It's frustrating not being able to use the machine for its price. I'm determined to uncover the root cause.

PC details: Motherboard – ROG STRIX Z690-E
CPU – 12th Gen Intel Core i7-12700K (3.60 GHz)
Memory – CORSAIR Vengeance 32GB (2 x 16GB) DDR5 5200 (PC5 41600)
SSD – WD BLACK SN850 NVMe M.2 2280 1TB PCI-Express 4.0 x4
GPU – GIGABYTE AORUS GeForce RTX 3070 MASTER 8GB GDDR6
RAM – Intel XMP 3.0
Cooler – Corsair Hydro Series H150i PRO RGB (360mm)
Case fans & monitors included in the list.

Any questions or suggestions would be appreciated—please let me know or message me.

Ensure the system is tested with at least four passes using MemTest86 via USB drive.

Seems like a temporary fix might be required. Could benefit from a manual speed increase.
