Problem with Xbox wireless controller functioning on a PC.
I've been using my Xbox Wireless controller on PC for some time now (the latest model with the capture button). Suddenly it stopped working when I connected it via Bluetooth or USB. It functioned fine the previous night. I checked the device manager for drivers and found none; updated the controller through the Xbox Accessories app, but it still doesn't work. The left stick and A-button appear in settings, yet games can't be played and it only powers on. My Switch Pro controller works perfectly, so the issue seems to be with my PC. Any advice or solutions would be appreciated. Thanks.
According to what I understand, the Xbox console has some issues.
I’m still uncertain about that response. If the board is faulty, I’d expect it to fail completely, but the controller seems to function with certain apps. Thanks again!
There might be a daughter board that prevents the device from functioning, unless you decide to use a soldering iron and screwdriver, which would be a hassle.
