The Xbox 360 controller is functioning properly, but it's showing recognition issues. The bar around the logo lights up, then stops, and you see a message saying "USB device not recognized." This could be due to a connection problem or driver issue. Try checking the USB port, ensuring it's securely connected, and restarting your PC. If the problem persists, consider updating your drivers or testing the controller on another device.

Is this a new or existing model?
How is it connected—via cable or wirelessly?

I haven't encountered any major problems with either Xbox controller generation or clones using a cable. It seems the device might be faulty. Would you like to test it on another PC to confirm the issue?

Yes, I tested it on two different PCs, and the same issue occurs unfortunately—it's definitely the connection. I believe this is why all the buttons function correctly.
