Recently the Windows key on your laptop isn’t responding, but after reinstalling Windows it works for a short time before stopping again. You have only a few days left on your Dell G7 warranty. Could be a software or hardware problem—please let me know so I can help quickly. Thanks!

Contact Dell immediately. If you can’t get your key back without reinstalling and you didn’t purchase the questionable grey market keys, they’ll have to resolve the issue for you.

It appears the problem persists even after reinstalling Windows. The issue might stem from a software glitch or hardware fault. The suggested fix is resetting the BIOS settings back to their original factory defaults. This was confirmed on March 26, 2022 by Anicool007.
