I attempted your approach but had to restart the PC. Prior to that, I used a generated window key to upgrade from Window Home Premium to Ultimate, which appears to be working now. According to Speedbird, issues might arise after 30 days of trial, and I hope they don’t occur and that I understand the cause if they do.

I set up MUI using a Windows update since I had Windows 7 Ultimate installed. This allowed me to switch the display language to Korean. Now I can view all Korean characters easily. Thanks for your assistance.
