I can't figure out why my headphones aren't connecting to my PC. The PC won't see them, and they can't see the PC either. Both work fine with other Bluetooth stuff, but not with each other for some reason. I tried plugging a USB dongle in, but it shows up as "bluetooth radio" on the PC list instead of finding my headphones. I've updated all drivers I could think of, cleared the device lists, and now I'm completely lost. It feels like these two just don't get along. Also, even with the dongle, it worked on my old Windows 10 PC but won't work here. My motherboard has built-in Bluetooth and works fine with other things, but refuses to pair with my headphones for some cursed reason. Anyone else have any tips?

There is one included with the motherboard. It was meant to be attached to the back of the board. At the top of Miscellaneous above Yes, it says it's for WIFI but BT uses the same antenna. The chip on the motherboard that does wifi also runs Bluetooth and uses the same broadcast method. The manual doesn't even say you attach it to those connectors on the back of the board. Page 2-30 shows where - https://dlcdnets.asus.com/pub/ASUS/mb/LG...?model=ROG MAXIMUS Z790 HERO See if attaching it extends its range, ability to see headphones.

Do you have a specific motherboard? Where is the antenna configured? Those Bose ANC headsets are having issues. It looks like there are problems with them and Windows 10 too. The Bose website seems to have driver issues with Windows 11 - here is the link: https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/

Rog Maximus Z790 Hero There is no antenna. Just for a little more info, I was messing with it earlier right after I posted this, and when I turned on "advanced" Bluetooth discovery, the headset showed up randomly for about 5 minutes (after restarting my computer), I got super excited, then tried to connect to them. It waited about 30 seconds and said "No response from device" on my pc. Then they disappeared and I can't get them to show up again as a connection option...
