Problem with Windows 10 display not launching.
Hello everyone, welcome back. My setup uses Windows 10 Pro. A recent issue arose—my screensaver won’t start. I double-checked the power settings and confirmed it’s enabled. What might be causing this?
The issue is that my power settings aren't functioning at all. Even the screen remains on indefinitely, and everything appears to be active. However, the settings I configured don't respond in any way. Recently, I reinstalled the entire system from scratch. After installing any game via Steam, this problem started occurring again.
Is there anyone who knows the reason behind the power settings issue on Windows 10?
Verify your system settings in the BIOS/UEFI. Activate power-saving options there. Ensure all drivers are installed on Windows, especially chipset ones. Run a diagnostic via Command Prompt or PowerShell as Administrator. Execute the command to generate an energy report file, which will be saved in C:\.
I own a B360 AORUS GAMING 3 WIFI motherboard. I’m having trouble locating the energy management settings. I haven’t made any changes, and all drivers seem to be installed.
The issue was with the connected receiver from the GameSir T4 joystick. I removed the app from the USB port, and the system began shutting down as expected. Appreciate the GoodBytes tips!
