Problem with Wi-Fi 6 AX200 connection! Need assistance.
Hello there! I'm just starting out on this forum and finding everything a bit confusing. I recently purchased an EPUP EP-9636FS-Pro from Newegg. I've attached a screenshot of my computer setup for clarity. Right now, I'm using a USB Netgear A6210 with their drivers and a launcher. The device looks fine and I've re-seated it twice in the PCI x8 slot after my GTX 970 took up space in the PCI x1. I followed the manufacturer's recommended drivers and it worked briefly before stopping network connections altogether. I downloaded Intel's auto-updating driver software, which found a newer version for the ax200, but then everything stopped working again—no longer showing up under network adapters. I tried turning it off and back on, but nothing seems to fix it. Could there be a hardware issue I'm missing? My power supply is 800 Watts Gold. I'm trying to figure this out before deciding whether to return or wait for a better solution from Netgear. Also, I should probably update my BIOS since I installed a new SSD. It's a bit puzzling with everything. The fan and RGB lights are still functioning properly.
I started with the original manufacturer's driver and followed the instructions to the tee. If that didn't help, I checked for the latest Intel driver to rule out any conflicts. I'm concerned there might be a hardware issue—maybe my motherboard or CPU isn't compatible with the current Windows version. I used to think these things just work out of the box without problems.
The AX201 utilizes CNVi, while the AX200 is the standard model.
