Problem with Watchdogs mods

I updated my Watchdogs yet the game won't launch. I added sweetfx and several other mods, but an error about a missing entry point keeps appearing. I'm using Windows 8.

Did you add Directx11 to your system? Since you're on an 8, it's likely already installed. Are you sure the game works without the modification?

Removed the sweetFx component and everything is functioning properly. I was searching for a method to deploy sweetFx on Windows 8.

I THINK there's a separate sweetfx version for 8.1 or something that fixes this...if I remember right..I think I had this problem with bf4

Perhaps this could assist? The difference lies in dx11.2 versus 11.1, and the SweetFX creator doesn't run on 8.1. They said something like "fuck it."
