Problem with USB keyboard after the 24-hour update
Problem with USB keyboard after the 24-hour update
A few days back I upgraded my PC from 23h2 to 24h2. During startup, I hear USB connect sound and see the message about a malfunctioning device. I discovered that clicking any key on my keyboard makes the "!" symbol disappear in Device Manager, and everything functions normally afterward. This issue doesn't occur every time I restart; it happens more often. I think it might be related to the 24h2 version since I didn’t have that before. There’s one exception—after a restart while installing the Realtek driver, the error appeared. It could be a coincidence, but I already uninstalled that driver and the problem persists. I tried connecting the keyboard to different ports, but the result remains the same. Marvo kg945 keyboard, brand new, about a month old, works perfectly except for this small startup glitch. Anyone else facing similar issues?
You're unsure about the three HID devices listed in Device Manager under Keyboard. It's not necessary to uninstall and reinstall them unless you're experiencing issues. Check if they're causing conflicts or performance problems, and adjust settings as needed.
