I'm currently working with my PC parts inside an old case. I'm using a Gigabyte B550I motherboard, an AMD Ryzen 9 5900x, a Rog Strix 1080 graphics card, and a CoolerMaster V750 Gold modular PSU. I'm not sure if any of these components are relevant to the problem I'm facing, but... Overall, I've been using a Logitech G Pro Charging Dock on my old system. Everything functioned normally when I installed the new parts, updated BIOS without issues, downloaded Windows, and everything was fine. Then I began downloading drivers for my microphone (Elgato Wave:3), keyboard (Steelseries Apex Pro), and mouse (Logitech G Pro Wireless). This is when things started to break down. Initially, my keyboard with an external USB header worked, but the keyboard stopped responding altogether. After installing the Steelseries driver, it became functional again. My mouse also failed, so I downloaded drivers for it as well. Unfortunately, those didn't help. When I opened up BIOS, everything worked perfectly. In Windows, the same issues appeared. So I unplugged the dock containing the mouse receiver and connected it only to one of the front IO ports—then it worked. I tried reconnecting the dock, but lights came on yet nothing happened, even when I placed my mouse on top for charging. I attempted to update USB controller drivers via Device Manager, but that didn't resolve anything. All USB ports seem to be working fine, yet the device, motherboard, or Windows fail to recognize it. What should I do next? Any suggestions would be appreciated.
