I don’t have another machine to try it on since the only other device I own is a Lenovo P52, which is a laptop.

Reach out to Lian Li and inform them about the issue. If they match the quality of Fractal Design, they should provide a fresh front panel connector set for you to install. This situation occurred with a Fractal Case that had a faulty USB 3 connector, and they sent a replacement after confirming your ownership. They didn’t ask for the faulty set again. If this matches the Lian Li experience, swapping should be straightforward.
