Hello, during the process of inserting the USB 3.0 header into your PC motherboard, you accidentally damaged pin number 11 (D2+). The concern is whether the USB 3.0 connection will function without it.

It seems you could probably use it just for charging, not for transferring data.

No, that's a critical pin. You might be able to adapt it to a 2.0 header and use it for that.
