Problem with USB 1.0 on Acer Aspire 5334 Device fails to connect via USB 1.0 port.
Hi everyone, I recently received an Acer Aspire 5334 with its USB ports (USB 1.0) replaced—though the reason isn’t clear. The ports still aren’t working. Voltage readings are normal (5V) on both the pins inside the port and the solder points, but when I plug in a USB splitter it doesn’t power anything. My regular PC works fine with it. The soldering looks good, there are no shorts, and the pins are correctly aligned. Also, no storage device is connected and it doesn’t recognize anything.
