I recently installed a new system with specifications including an i5-12600k processor, 32GB RAM, a 3600MHz teamgroup SSD, and a 1TB M.2 drive. I’m eagerly awaiting the MSI 3070 OC 2X to arrive tomorrow. The main problem I’m encountering is that my Wi-Fi signal consistently shows only 1-2 bars and runs very slowly, while other devices maintain strong signals and operate at full capacity. Currently, I’m getting around 300Kbps, whereas my internet connection supports up to 400Mbps. I’m uncertain about the cause—possibly a weak antenna or faulty driver—but the internet speed is so slow that updating drivers feels unmanageable. Additionally, my display settings are fixed at 720p, and my monitor appears much blurry in that resolution. I’m hoping the new GPU will arrive tomorrow and I can connect via DisplayPort to fix this, but I’m confident it should support 1080p.

It sounds a bit awkward but... the screw-on antenna is connected to the motherboard's WiFi antenna connectors, right? If that's accurate, you might want to move the antenna and/or perform a speed test using a phone placed exactly where the antennas are. Also, make sure the correct drivers from the manufacturer are installed.

Welcome is appreciated! Often it's the small things in life that bring the biggest sadness, until we understand them. Nice to hear everything is resolved!
