Problem with Ubuntu post-reboot.
Problem with Ubuntu post-reboot.
Yesterday I accessed my server—actually an old laptop serving as a game server on Ubuntu 22.04. After running sudo apt update and upgrade, the system asked me to restart for a fresh kernel. I planned to do a proper update before moving forward, so I rebooted using sudo. Now it's afternoon, and I still can't connect via SSH. The machine is silent, no response, and everything appears blank. The fans are running, but nothing seems to be happening. I know I have backups of important data, but this issue happened during the last update too. I mistakenly thought I turned it off too early (after about 30 minutes), which led to a full system wipe—though it booted afterward, showing errors like "file missing." This doesn’t seem related, so I’m running out of ideas. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.
